One of the best Airbnbs we have been to, really tasteful and looked even better than the photos!! Manuel went the extra miles to make sure we had a great time, helping us book a white water rafting trip and dinners. We thoroughly enjoy the Airbnb! Thank you so much Manuel.

This place is gorgeous, even magical. Its my second time staying here for a week. I'd come again in a heart beat. Both times its been the perfect place for a group retreat, yoga, dance, a kitchen for making home cooked food and cozy places to hang out for schmoozing. The forest surrounds you with exotic sites and sounds throughout the day and night (howler monkeys, toucans) with a beautiful ocean view in the distance. There's a little green parrot that likes to fly in from the trees to spend time on your shoulder. The cats make nice companions too. Be aware...we saw no snakes, but had a visit by a scorpion one evening...it just seemed to stroll in across the floor. It was easy to shoo away, but larger than I've seen before. Maya and Manuel will set you up on a group WhatsApp chat so that any questions or concerns can be easily and promptly addressed. You'd be lucky to have time here.

La finca es realmente hermosa. Se encuentra muy cerca de Punta Uva, y por ende de todas las playas desde Puerto Viejo a Manzanillo. Recomiendo carro para poder trasladarse puesto que la entrada tiene dos montañitas, y unos 500 m. El lugar es bello. Tiene mucha área verde, animales de granja, y son 5 casitas para acomodarse. La cocina espaciosa, hasta nos dieron huevos de gallina y plátanos maduros. El comedor y sala son áreas divinas para pasar con los invitados. Tiene un parlante para conectar tu teléfono y tener música. Además tiene una terraza finamente decorada, por donde pusimos una piscina inflable para niños. En la noche todo se ilumina lindísimo. Procuran reciclar lo cual me gustó mucho. Las casas son hermosas. Tienen camas suficientes iguales a como está descrito en la página. Cómodas y con ropa de cama. Los baños son un plus literalmente metidos en la jungla. Brindaron suficientes paños e implementos de baño. Manuel siempre estuvo disponible. Nos ayudó a la hora de entrada y salida, lo cual hizo que nuestros días fueran bien aprovechados. Sin duda volvería con amigos o familia. La pasamos genial! Muchas gracias por todo Manuel!!

We had a wonderful stay at Big Tree and rented the entire property for 4 weeks. It is a great property and is always cooler than the beach area which is several hundred feet lower in elevation. Lots of birds and great view of the Caribbean Sea. Wildlife is at its best in the early morning - you will be up anyway just before sunrise with the Howler monkeys! Great cooking facilities. Local beaches are wonderful and range from calm to lots of surf and sandy to coral/rocky. Rent a 4-wheel drive vehicle to enjoy the area. Be prepared for less choice and quality for some grocery products. Fruit is often better at roadside stands than the grocery store. Meat quality is variable and requires careful selection. Be sure that you enjoy cats as there are several that are onsite at all times and require your vigilance if you do not want to sleep with them or to climb on the kitchen counters and dining table.
