My husband and I are frequent visitors to the Eastern Shore and have stayed in many airbnbs over the years. The Franktown cottage, though small, is one of the best. Good for walking and bird watching and very quiet. Sort of rural. The place stayed warm. We loved it. A very nice tile floor, to boot!

On a nice dog walking street. The shower did not work. Time must be allowed before leaving for 2 loads of laundry required to wash sheets and towels.

Easy to find, close to Hwy, quiet place. Eastern Shore mosquitoes are everywhere, LOL! Place was smaller than we expected, but it served the purpose of our visit to the area.

My wife and I were looking to spend a peaceful weekend away from the big city. This was the place. Absolutely no noise. A nice neighborhood to walk in. Close easy drive to natural areas to enjoy the scenery and some nice restaurants to choose from for a nice meal. The cottage had all the amenities to cook there, but we just wanted a relaxing weekend and Richard’s cottage perfectly fit the bill. We enjoyed our stay.

A musty smell on the entry, cobwebs over lamps, dead bugs on the floor, and Wardrobe items Bedding etc. were thrown in. Lack of clothes hangers for one person An open pack of other guest sausages was left in the fridge, and the waste bin in the bathroom was not emptied with dirty tissues and Hair. Spider webs on the floor moulding. Untidy kitchen cupboards. House book with incorrect WIFI login Information. The owner States leave as found hinting that should be done in a respectful clean manner and sends a check-out message for the guest to strip the bed and start washing the bed linen before leaving are we the guests or the Cleaners? The overall appearance of the property on entry is rustic but not to the basic expectation of any property a person rents on Airbnb or Hotel booking a person needs to know that the property is clean. I was very unsatisfied with the property. I slept in full clothing as was unsure of what condition the bed may be beneath the linen. Pictures available.
