自我介绍

I am a Chinese American woman who was born and raised in Vietnam. I emigrated directly from Saigon to Petersburg, Alaska in 1983 with my parents and eight siblings. I became a US citizen in the 1990's. I arrived in Petersburg with the clothes on my back and a bill for the plane ticket. I was working in a fish processing plant three days later. We paid off the plane tickets in the first six months. I learned English while working. I started my first business in 1986 and I've never looked back. In addition to this vacation rental I run a small restaurant on Sing Lee Alley down town, Helse Restaurant. I'm open there for breakfast and lunch, about 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. during the summer season. I hope to see you in Petersburg! p.s.
