Was very pleased with the place and the host. We happened to be there when there was nobody out, so it felt very private, and it is a single cabin by the pond so it would have privacy, except for when people are fishing or walking around the pond. The cabin feels rustic (spiders, no bathroom) but at the same time it had heating, AC, stove top, microwave, mini fridge, and some pans and paper plates. The shower was very good and bathroom clean. There is a fire ring and firewood, and the pond is right by the cabin, for catch and release without a license, also a very nice trail around the property. The camp manager was very friendly and helpful.

A cozy stay, peaceful, quiet, and family friendly. The lake view was calming and we enjoyed the nature trails through the forest. We found an eagles nest just behind the cabin and were able to watch the male fly laps around the area. The cabin itself was clean with everything needed for meal time including a stovetop, microwave, sink, and mini fridge. The bed was spacious and comfortable for my husband and I. We spent the evening tending a fire and watching the world pass by around the lake. It was a bit wet and muddy around the cabin but we are earthy people who weren’t bothered by it. Definitely a stay we want to experience again!

Staying here was very peaceful, and all of the amenities made it a warm comfortable stay. The view of the pond was so pretty!

Quiet place and very enjoyable stay. I went up for the weekend to hit the birding trails and not only did I not have to go far, but as soon as I pulled up there was a Bald Eagle chillin on the telephone wire tower 🤘🏽. There is minimal light around the area so the night sky was great! The pond is literally 20-30 ft from the porch making fishing very easy. I caught 7 bass and 3 blue gill in about an hour of fishing. Host was very nice and was willing to answer any question I had. Will definitely be staying here again!
