In a sentence, Choose this place to stay if you want easy access to the beach and a great place to relax. The is a GREAT place to stay for anyone that wants a space for a family. The space is large, having 3 bedrooms upstairs and on the main level having full kitchen, living room and dining room. Being within walking distance of the beach but far enough away to avoid the beach craziness. The pool right outside of the room is great for the little ones and the older ones. I highly recommend this place, the host was very quick to respond and was available on-site to help with any issues.

Our family of six enjoyed a comfortable weekend at Mike's place, with a bunk-bed room for two kids plus a queen-size bed in each of the other bedrooms. The beach is less than 5 minutes' stroll but its narrow band of sand is nothing to write home about, so we took a Grab taxi to Hua Hin's best beach (Suan Son Pradipat) about 20 mins away. Fortunately Mike's complex also has a large, kids-friendly swimming pool. Another big plus is the three quality restaurants a short walk away on the road behind the house. Take your pick from Thai, Tex-Mex or, our favourite, French food in a garden.

Renting the apartment in Cha-Am for four weeks, February 2019. Nice apartment with fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom and plenty of space. Wi-Fi worked great. Great pool and outdoor area with daily cleaning. Proximity to the beach with good sun and bathing opportunities. We were well received on arrival and shown to the apartment. Nice and helpful guard who gladly ordered Taxi to us. Good cleaning except last week, which may be due to language misunderstanding / problems. We decided to end our stay a few days before to experience Bangkok. We therefore said it was not necessary to change the bedding. Then neither the bathroom nor the toilet and the rest of the apartment were cleaned, we asked for new towels, we got it, but used was not picked up. A little about our experience of Cha-Am: At a stay of 4 weeks we might think it was a bit small and experience here. Few restaurants of good standard. Of the good ones, we would like to highlight Didine, Happy Pizza and Aroy who are in close proximity to TPS South. Somewhat long distance to great and good grocery store and bakery. We experienced language problems, most of them could not speak English or very little. This is particularly true "Taxi" drivers. It was a problem. We enjoyed ourselves in Cha-Am, nice people. Excursions to Hua Hin, Floating Market, Wednesday Market in Cha-Am etc. Bjørg and Knut Norway
