We had the best time at Phil’s place. He made us feel right at home: like visiting family. Good conversations over breakfast (which was also superb by the way), great suggestions for food and DC highlights. If you visit this place, make sure to ask for his Dutch ‘uitsmijter’ for breakfast - very much approved by us guests from Holland. Last: great location, easy to reach DC’s Mall, and felt super safe. Also good dining options nearby. 100% recommended and would choose again.

Phil is an amazing host. I felt like home once I arrived. He was very welcoming and friendly. The house has a warm atmosphere. Phil cooked yummy breakfast in the morning. We had great conversations with him and the other guests. I felt like a part of the family. The locating is very convenient and has a lot of things around like restaurants, shopping and even sightseeings. Metro is just a short walk away. It was an amazing experience! I will definitely come back next time.

Despite unavoidable issues, Phil was very responsive and made everything right. I would recommend this spot for anyone traveling into DC - parking available, easy access to Metro, walking distance to many fine restaurants and shopping.

Wir waren zwei Tage in Washington bei Phil. Es hat uns morgens ein sehr leckeres Frühstück vorbereitet und war sehr offen und hat uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und wir haben uns in dieser Atmosphäre sehr wohl gefühlt😊

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. First, we liked the cleanliness and coziness of the house. While the room wasn't overly spacious, it was adequate, and the bed was very comfortable. The two shared bathrooms were well-maintained, and we had no issues sharing them with other guests. The location was another highlight. Situated in a safe neighborhood with easy access to the metro, getting to the city center was quick. Also, having the option to park our car nearby for the duration of our stay was very convenient. However, what truly set this Airbnb experience apart was Phil, the host. Each morning, he prepared a tasty breakfast and engaged us in fascinating conversations. But if you have any plans, he will always be respectful of your schedule and never impose. Phil provided us with metro cards, a map, and a weekly events brochure, which proved invaluable in navigating the city and making the most of our stay. We immensely enjoyed our experience at Phil's Airbnb.
