We have been fortunated to travel to many different places in the world. Serra Serena is perhaps our number one favourite accommodation. This is our story - After one month of traveling in Portugal, we felt like finding a place to stay for a month to rest up. It was way beyond our expectations. We were both amazed by the nice surroundings. Wherever you look, it's a beautiful view. Many nice hiking trails and lovely villages around. The feeling when we entered the house was cozy, harmonious and refreshing. Their home is equipped with everything and more. The house has a lot of character and decorated with lots of care. We felt at home very quickly. Luis and Ana are incredible hosts and now friends. Open-minded, funny, wise, helpful, independent to name a few of their qualities. We did not have a car, this was never a problem as we could rent electric bikes and could do what we wanted thanks to their help. We both enjoy doing yoga and had beautiful lessons together with Ana. We have also gone on incredible hikes with Luis. They are both very inspiring people and they have thought us a lot of things with both words and actions. We couldn't have wished for a better experience. This stay has made us enjoy, grow and love Portugal even more. Forever grateful. See you soon amigos!

Gostámos muito de estar em casa da Ana e do Luís! A casa é limpa, acolhedora, com todas as comodidades que possam ser necessárias e uma vista linda! Está muito bem localizada para quem quer conhecer a Serra de Aires e Candeeiros. A Ana e o Luís foram incansáveis! Estiveram sempre preocupados e genuinamente envolvidos para que tivéssemos a melhor estadia possível! Recomendamos vivamente!

We felt very very welcome in this beautiful house, hosted by Ana and Luís. It is located in a privileged and quiet little village, with an inspiring view towards the mountains of Miradaire. The breakfast that was provided to us (included in the price) was delicious and exquisite, with many many healthy options. But the best was the still warm bread that Ana and Luís purchased that same morning, in an old fashioned bakery with a real oven made by an old lady who's been making bread all her life. The bakery sits only 50 meters from their house and we later bought amazing sweet potatoe bread and corn bread. Ana is an expert in Yoga and soon she will have a space in the premises that can host yoga lessons for their guests. Luís is an enthusiast and expert about mountain biking. He organizes tours and he rents bikes and makes them available in places of your choice in nearby spots. They are both super friendly and eager to provide all the hints you need to visit the area. Communication was extremely fast and clear. Highly recommended!

Ana and Luis are very warm and kind people and we felt at home right away! Their place is lovely and in the morning we did an amazing tour with Luis on the mountainbikes to show us the area. An experience we’ll never forget! We enjoyed the house and the fresh warm bread in the morning. :)
