Very n8ce apartment in a very nice area in Bangkok. Just very nice and quiet during the night wich is very rare to find in bkk. It was cleaned and a nice landlord.. Overall just go ahead. U won't regret it
My experience at this property was pretty mixed during my 1 month stay. First the good: the apartment was pretty clean (shower needed a bit more cleaning) and the building is nice as well as secure. The host was mostly accommodating and provided several additional items for the apartment when requested which was very nice. Emphasis on “mostly” - more on my experience with the host below. The bad: the apartment is very far from the BTS. You will need to take a taxi/Uber or bus ride to reach the BTS or any tourist destination (unless you want to walk 45 minutes to the BTS). There was a strong oder coming from the drains in the bathroom. The bed is hard and left me sore on the side I slept on (I guess this is personal preference). The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the adjacent room (and they can hear you). The dryer is almost always occupied by the house cleaners so it’s difficult to dry your clothes unless you hang dry. This leads us to the biggest problem I had... One day after doing laundry and being unable to dry my clothes (because the house cleaner started a load in the dryer even though she saw I had a load about to finish in the washer) I was trying to hang dry my clothes outside but the dryer wires in the balcony were insufficient for the amount of clothes I needed to hang. I looked at the balcony next door and saw that there was an unused dryer rack folded up sitting in the balcony. I knew no one was in that room because I saw a couple check out that morning so I decided to borrow the dryer rack so I could hang my clothes. A few days later the host noticed that I had borrowed the dryer rack and sent me a very hostile message asking me how I got it. I tried explaining that I borrowed the rack because I didn’t have enough room to hang my clothes and the house keeper kept the dryer occupied. The hose (Wimonpak) was extremely upset that I borrowed the rack and refused to accept my explanation. She insisted on “teaching me a lesson about how to treat other people”, spoke to me like I was a child, and was very condescending and hostile. At one point I felt so threatened by her that I was afraid she might call the police and accuse me of stealing the rack, or try to evict me from the apartment. So at that point I decided to just apologize profusely (even though I felt I did nothing wrong) and try to de-escalate the situation. Fortunately she accepted my groveling and allowed me to return the rack. It was an extremely stressful hour while this conversation took place and at one point I considered packing my stuff and leaving due to the extreme hostility. I had to use the...
自我介绍
Wimonpak Prapasrianan, this is my very long Thai name. I also have nick name, Meow or Michelle. I was born in Bangkok, lived & studied in Bangkok in my early years. My teenage years were spent in London, where I did my studies in Business. During this period of my life I took a great interest in travel, that I still have, too this day. I have traveled to many countries in Europe & Asia & wish to travel to many more as well as more exotic destinations like , Africa, South America & hopefully this year Australia. Each country has taught me valuable lessons about what it means to be friendly, give & receive hospitality & look after my fellow travellers. I hope to welcome you to my studio apartments & will happily help you with any travel queries or arrangements that you need to make. Thanks You. Michelle.
