Our cozy cabin is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Kabayama Village, very close to the lively Ski Resort of Hirafu. You’ll love staying at our place away from the hustle of Hirafu and only 300m walk to the closest free Hirafu shuttle stop. 1.7km walk into Hirafu with a foot path the whole way. It's great place for couples, friends or small families. We have another two listings available all next door to each other, if travelling in a bigger group. Our one bedroom cabin is a cozy oasis, your home away from home. Nestled amongst the white birch trees in the peaceful Kabayama Village with glimpses of Mt Annupuri from the front door. Please note the cabin is not located in Hirafu Village (to access Hirafu Village & the Mountain, you'll have to get the free shuttle bus which is 200m walk from the cabin or you can walk into Hirafu Village (1.7km). You can enjoy a home cooked meal in the small kitchen (no oven - stove top only) or relax on the couch with a glass of wine after a big day on the mountain. The entire cabin is 40 sq metres in size. It isn't huge but can comfortably sleep four adults a queen size bed and oversized (semi double bunks). The cabin allows for you to have the whole space to yourself & have the convenience of amenities like a kitchen. Each cabin is equipped with a queen sized bed and a built in semi-double (30cm wider than a normal single bed) bunk (sleeps two). The bathroom - wet room (small bath & shower) and a seperate toilet.
Steve & Amy were great host’s with amazingly fast response times. Even when an issue occurred with the heating they responded within 15 minutes! Also we’re nice enough to offer a lift into town for a small fee! Barring the 25 minute walk into town the cabin is located in a great spot Would recommend this accommodation
We loved staying here during our week in Niseko! The cabin was lovely and spacious for the two of us. It’s about a 25 minute walk from town which we didn’t mind, it’s also a short walk to the free shuttle and was easy to get a cab if needed. We would love to come back and stay here again someday.
We really enjoyed our stay! Steve and Amy were very helpful from the moment we booked the place and very responsive if we had any questions. Would recommend!
Amazing hosts, very proactive and responsive all throughout the trip. The cabin was quite spacious and cosy. It was within walking distance to the main shopping area and there's also quick access to the free shuttle just a quick walk. the sleeping quarters was super clean and spacious for 2-3 people. Got no complaints and worth the price you pay.
It's a quiet neighbourhood only minutes by bus/car from the lively Hirafu Village. There are two great restaurants within walking distance and a lovely cafe/deli, a favourite of ours to grab a coffee and croissant. The bus is only 500 metres from the cabin - Kabayama North (Kita) bus stop and short 1.7km stroll into the Vale and your closest Onsen (hot spring).
The NUS (Niseko United Shuttle) bus, is free with an all mountain lift pass. It is a good service that can get you from each side of the mountain.
The closest convenience stores are in Hirafu Seico Mart which has a Hot Chef and lots of great prepackaged meals that you can reheat or eat on the run. Lawsons is another convenience store is a little further down the road but operates 24hrs.
There is an international ATM just outside the entrance to Green Farm Cafe (which is located under the Shiki hotel).
The closest bigger town is Kutchan (30 minutes on the bus) you can visit a Japanese Supermarket (this is always a fun experience), Hospital (has a interpreter available) and Chemist.
In Hirafu there is Niseko Physio if you need to access a Physio during your stay, it is run by an Australian so all staff speak english. They also have massage therapists if you tired body needs a massage after days of riding powder.
The Niseko United (Mountain shuttle) stop - Kabayama North is just 500 metres from the front door. From this stop you can access Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri.
If you feel like a short stroll there is a footpath the whole way into Hirafu.
If you'd like to rent a car we can put you in contact with an affordable hire car company.
The best way to get to Niseko from New Chitose International or Domestic Airport is by bus or train. Please book to Grand Hirafu Welcome Centre if you are coming to Niseko by bus or if travelling by train Kutchan Train Station.
** Make sure you book early if travelling by bus as peak season gets booked out quickly! **
As a general rule you have to book at least 9 days in advance. It is approximately 4000 yen for an Adult one way from New Chitose Airport to Niseko
自我介绍
Hi there we are Steve & Amy. We have two gorgeous sons Oscar & Maxie. Steve & I first travelled to Japan in February 2012. We fell in love with the people, the mountains and the food. We absolutely love snowboarding and especially the powder riding that Niseko delivers every season! We managed a Ski Lodge in Niseko for two winters and definitely caught the Niseko bug! We loved it so much we decided it was the perfect destination to get married in March 2016. Now we hope to help others enjoy their stay in Niseko as much as we do.
