We ended up at Carl's place last minute because the air went out in our other condo right before we arrived. I found Carl's place which was right next door and messaged him in a panic because it was getting late in the day and we needed somewhere to go. Carl responded immediately and got us into his condo quickly. We were so thankful! The condo was beautiful with a gorgeous balcony and view. Carl checked in on us frequently and addressed all of our questions and concerns. The condo had everything we needed and was close to downtown Christiansted. We snorkeled right in front of the condo our first day and swam out past the reef. We saw so much stuff, including multiple barracuda, a variety of fish, and a black tip reef shark! Fair warning, the shark was not afraid of us at all. It came right up to the tip of my foot before it turned away, and then continued to follow us, so just be cautious. Our favorite part was the local condo cats! Loved our stay, hope to go back.

Absolutely stunning. Location was amazing. Carl above and beyond helpful. Great breeze though the condo. Amazing to sleep to the sound of waves lapping. Extremely relaxing. Make sure to take sunscreen as it is hard to find and extremely expensive. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We absolutely loved Carls place. We were really sad to leave it! The condo was super well equipped with everything we could have ever needed! Carl was great with communication too! The location was perfect and the view is amazing! Hopefully we will be back soon! Thanks Carl!!

This was our first time in St. Croix and first time using an Airbnb. Prior to choosing Carl's place, I sent him a text to confirm that this Condo had A/C and he told me that there's A/C but nobody really uses it during this time of year due to something called, "Christmas Winds." Apparently, once the windows and levies are opened, there is a nice wind that flows thru the entire Condo. So, when we arrived the Condo was hot and I turned on the A/C and we left the Condo for approximately an hour to get some groceries. When we returned to the Condo, it was still hot and we let Carl know that the air doesn't seem to be working correctly. At night, there was no wind coming into the Condo that could cool us off and we did not sleep comfortably. Carl did contact the A/C company and they came BUT the A/C did not work because it needed a part replaced. According to the neighbor, the "X-MAS Winds" did not show up this year!
