Wayan is a wonderful host. He and his family embraced us with open arms. The highlight was dressing in traditional clothes and attending a ceremony at the local temple. We hired him as a guide for 2 days. We're returning home with special memories because of his knowledge and insight about the area.

Remy's home is amazing and you would be lucky if his place is available during your stay in Bali! His whole family is so kind and welcoming and helps take care of any of your needs. You really do feel like a local here, as you can choose to partake in any of the local activities going on during your stay. Also, the tours he offers are fantastic and he is great company to have. He and his brother can show you around to any place on the island, while also giving you detailed information about each site, Balinese culture, and religious activities. I highly recommend Remy's homestay if you're looking for a truly authentic experience of Bali. Thank you Remy for an unforgettable experience! We hope to meet you again :)

What a stay! This homestay is much more than just accomodation. I had the opportunity to really understand the tradition, be a part of Remy's family and neighbours, have a tour guide who explained everything really well and his family provided me with much warmth and laughter. I would highly recommend this place if you want to really have an authentic experience! This was by far an incredibly easy trip as I arranged Remy to pick me up from the airport, show me around for a few days and then drive me to my next destination for a reasonable price and awesome company.

If you want to experience life in Bali then this is the place for you. We could not have been happier during our stay with Wayan and Made. They welcomed us into their family home and from day one we felt like we were part of the family. We were able to have many local experiences each day and both Wayan and Made went out of their way to show us around and to give us opportunities to experience Balinese culture and daily life in Tampak Siring. Walking distance to Gunung Kawi and Tirta Empul (two of the most amazing temples in Bali). The perfect place to call home while you explore the entire island. Wayan will happily drive you and be your guide to anywhere you would like to see in Bali. While at home we spent time upstairs in our lovely room and on the deck with views over the village rooftops but we also spent time downstairs chatting with the family, playing games with the kids, and watching a group of locals play cards.
