Finding a houseboat to stay in is the best way to spend time in Amsterdam, and this one is just perfect. It’s very conveniently located near restaurants, stuff to do, a block from the subway and one stop from Centraal. It’s a very boaty houseboat with ladders and portholes; it’s so fun to stick your head out the portholes and wave at tourist boats. It’s brightly lit with nice skylights to look up at sky and trees, and comfy in the evening (great for us after we put our kid to bed). Naturally, the loft bed is a huge win for a five-year-old too. We had a great stay in Amsterdam and couldn’t imagine doing it differently.

Great experience on the canal boat. Within walking distance to everything. Richard was very responsive. Would recommend this place to stay whilst in Amsterdam.

This was a great place to stay, really central, we could walk everywhere! Despite the central location it was really peaceful. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Only slight disappointment was that because the living accommodation is very low down in the boat, you can't actually see out of the portholes as they are so high up. There are no curtains so the light comes in, but this didn't bother us. Also there wasn't really a deck to sit on, just a small bench.

Very unique experience aboard the Saturnus, we were super comfortable and loved the access to the city center. Would for sure recommend this stay however as others mentioned the entrance to the hull is more of a ladder so folks with mobility issues may need to reconsider. Loved the soaker tub and lots of hot water !

Excellent location! Great place and great experience staying on a houseboat in Amsterdam! Wonderful espresso and tea selection and breakfast nearby! Really fun stay!
