I booked the lake house last minute the same day we needed to be there and Rodrigo was very responsive and accommodating with me and my family with such short notice and still had the house ready for us to enjoy. Juan who cares for the property was very attentive the entire time and gave us recommendations on all thighs to do and even took the time to walk us to see the animals around the property for my kids to enjoy. We loved everything and we used the 2 rooms of the house which had AC so heat was not a problem at night. There is a municipal dock on the water that has different businesses that sell food so it was always easy to have them deliver right to the house for any meals and the kitchen had everything needed to cook. We hired a local person to take us out on a 2 hour lake tour for $50 which we absolutely loved and made the stay at the lake house perfect. Internet worked great for us at all times and we were able to stay connected. Would recommend to anyone!

this airbnb was a beautiful place to start our stay in El Salvador. Rodrigo communicated everything clearly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He made sure we got the most of our stay (had our driver stop at Olocuitla- a great town to get pupusas) and scheduled us a beautiful sunset lake ride at Lago Ilopango. The staff on the farm was very helpful and easily accessible. They helped us with anything we needed and even went on a beer and pupusa run for us one night. One morning we scheduled breakfast on the lake with the lady working there it was a great desayuno típico and even better view. One disclaimer is the road to reach the lakeside farm is not in the best condition and part of it is very steep. We were a big group and so traveling in a full bus was scary and could’ve have gone very bad. I would recommend just making sure your car has the power to make it in and out of the airbnb. The road to the airbnb is about 20-25 mins.

This is a great place to stay! I went for new years eve with my family, and the property is very clean, full equiped kitchen with everything we needed and more. Great stay for kids, Juan the property guardian was very attentive and helpful, pictures dont do justice to how beautiful the house is, well mainteined and clean.
