Garden loving, jam making, chicken and bee lover but just like meeting new people and ensuring they are looked after. I love music, art and reading. I also love dogs. And children. I am trying to improve my Italian currently. Travel is now possible and very much enjoyed when Covid allows. We have developed some wonderful, close and lasting friendships with the families of many international exchange students we have hosted over the years. I cannot live without good leaf tea that I blend myself, my dogs, my chickens and bees and I adore my garden. My reading is voracious and covers many genres - just not fantasy or science fiction! When you stay with us you will be warmly welcomed and nurtured but allowed your privacy and seclusion. I like to give you a loaf of home made bread, fresh eggs from "the girls" and some home grown and made jam. You have a stylish apartment with the highest quality furnishings and bedding to ensure your comfort with direct access to a private outdoor sitting area and the swimming pool and tennis court. I hope you will feel nurtured. Our style of travelling is to seek out different styles of accomodation and to pursue the friendships, language and cultures that have given us so much joy and pleasure. Travelling is about places and experiences but more importantly about the human interactions and friendships that develop when one is open to them. I have always been a "pay it forward" kind of person. I like to think by our everyday actions we can make life just a little better for others. And that's a good thing.
