Fantastic little gem of a place. Bridget kindly sets you up with some essentials, which was a pleasant surprise. A clean home, with ample hot water. Well decorated and lovely and warm. I look forward to returning there in the very near future. Thank you Bridget.

Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone! Everything about our trip went smoothly, from initial contact through to checking in and out. It was easy to find and with parking right outside the front door, very accessible. The premises is clean, tidy, nicely decorated and comfortable. It is also in a perfect location for visiting other tourist attractions such as Glastonbury and Wookey Hole. The extra touches such as milk, bread and butter, cereal and fruit were very welcome, especially as we’d forgotten to take breakfast! We only stayed for a couple of days, but would have loved to have stayed longer. Lovely place and lovely host.

Would definitely recommend staying here. It was very cosy and comfortable and the host Bridget was very welcoming. The kitchen has all you need and bread, milk etc were kindly provided, including some little treats, which were very much appreciated. Our daughter was coming home from Prague for the weekend and her flight was into Bristol, so instead of driving up and back we decided to stay nearby to spend some quality time with her. Little Beechwood was so cosy and comfortable and provided a perfect retreat for a relaxed few days. Bridget recommended the local pub, The Oakhill Inn, and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent, the staff extremely friendly and we spent a lovely evening playing a board game there. It’s also a great location to have a wonder around Cheddar Caves, Wells, Shepton Mallet etc and also close to Bristol and Bath. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Great location for all adventure. Roughly 18miles for Wookey Hole, 27miles to Bristol. Good facilities on site. Friendly owner, lovely welcome. Will consider returning...

We could not have had a nicer place to stay. The cottage was spotless. Very cosy warm and comfortable. Beautiful and peaceful. Bridget added nice touches like fresh flowers arranged beautifully and provisions. We really enjoyed our stay
