Excellent location. Direct path to the beach, and most of the popular restaurants are 5 minutes drive in one direction or the other. A troop of monkeys walked past our plunge pool on the first day, a toucan was in the trees the second day, and we say several basilisk lizards on the beach path. The concierge / manager the host connected us with was very helpful with booking tours, finding the grocery store and pharmacy, and dealing with lost-and-found from a tour.

Overall we loved our stay at this villa … the short walk down the wooded path to the beach was so convenient, we loved this area of the beach, it was a short distance away from the public beach so it was much less busy but still had all of the amenities (parasailing, surfing, beach chairs for rent), the restaurant right next door on the beach was great for breakfast lunch and drinks. The location truly cannot be beat. The villa was clean and perfect for our stay w/ our 2 kids. They cleaned the villa every day which was so nice. And the plunge pool was perfect for dipping after a long day at the beach! Literally the only downside is the construction happening next door. We took a risk and booked anyways hoping that no work would be happening while we were there. If they are working, they start hammering at 5:30am and power tools at 6am on the dot. You cannot sleep through it. This was a bummer our first 2 mornings. Other than that the place was great.
