Excelente la casa de Mariana. La ubicación es muy hermosa, y la atencion detallada de Mariana de primera. No nos queríamos ir!

La casa bordemar es preciosa, emplazada en medio de un bosque nativo y con una vista espectacular en primera línea frente a una entrada de mar, que en marea baja se puede caminar por la playa que se forma, con mucha fauna marina alrededor. Al frente las lomitas de Chiloé y el camino a Dalcahue. La casa por dentro está llena de detalles de buen gusto, se siente full sureña, para quedarse y disfrutar. La cocina bien equipada. Bien ubicada, cerca de Castro, pero por el emplazamiento, muy tranquila y apartada. Se necesita auto, salvo que la idea sea instalarse ahí y disfrutar el entorno, que también es una gran opción.

All in all a very nice stay a few minutes away from Castro in the countryside. The house was perfect for our small family, we enjoyed also the wood cheminey and the nice view on the birds in the bayside. Mariana was always pending of any of our needs.

Casa Bordemar was our dream home- totally unique layout with traditional construction from the area. It is wonderfully decorated with local art and bits of nature (dried flowers and beautiful stones). The spaces are so comfortable and roomy, we practically never wanted to leave! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. The great big windows frame an amazing view of the bay which we never tired of. The yard offered our kids ample space for exploring and playing. The location is perfect for resting in a tranquil atmosphere. It is easy to get to groceries and restaurants just minutes away by car, a little difficult on foot but not impossible. The surrounding roads are nice for strolling especially if you like to meet local canine friends. And Mariana couldn't have been a more gracious, thoughtful, considerate host! She really went out of her way to make our stay in her home comfortable, but also helped us integrate in the area by introducing us to people and finding activities for our kids (we stayed almost four months). We had an amazing time in Chiloé and feel this is primarily due to Mariana helping us so much. We cannot recommend Marianas home highly enough- a real value!
