Dave and Julia are kind, responsive, and welcoming hosts! I stayed in the apartment for one month, and overall was happy with my stay. The location is close to the highway and downtown Brattleboro, and the apartment amenities include a king sized bed, full kitchen, and full bathroom. A few things to note for future guests: the walls are very thin, so if you are a light sleeper or bothered by noise, consider this. I have AT&T and did not have any cell service; this was fine because the WIFI was strong but important to note. Lastly, the unit was not as clean as I typically find Airbnb rentals to be (dust, rugs not vacuumed well, misc. items in closets and cabinets).

Julia and David were wonderful hosts. I experienced an issue with the oven and they were responsive to my request for help and were nice to be around. I'd recommend their spot for one to two people looking for a nice, inexpensive place to stay in Brattleboro.

I would recommend this place for others. I spent a month and easy location to access local venues. Only issue for me is that my cell phone did not work in home. Very spotty. Could not access my phone is bedroom-

David & Julia are friendly & very responsive, but for my stay their AirBnB wasn't charming or cozy, as advertised. I found the space very uncomfortable: it gets little natural light & felt gloomy. The air inside is dank & musty due to poor circulation (I also caught whiffs of animal urine when I first sat on the couch in the kitchen, prob not surprising due to the pet-friendly policy). The bathroom hadn't been cleaned (there was dust/grime, other people's hair in the shower & on the toilet, the linens were old & stained). There was food debris & old food left in the fridge/freezer, greasy food bits in the kitchen sink. I took photos & alerted the hosts - a cleaning was done immediately, but in the process they accidentally threw something of mine into the trash. I canceled my last night's stay (& was refunded). I am sorry to leave this negative review, but the poor condition of this pricey AirBnB wrecked my much anticipated (& badly needed) work retreat.
