This was our first time staying in Italy and be near Rome. The Airbnb was accurate to pictures and looked nice. It was modern and not to hard to find. The balcony was nice to sit and eat our meals as we watched people drive by. The host (can’t remember her name) is sooo nice!! We liked her a lot! She was incredibly helpful, especially when we couldn’t figure out how to use the Cotral bus. She even bought us bus tickets because we couldn’t figure it out! She took the time to meet us, get us the things we need and even showed us where the laundry room is. The area is quiet and there’s only a few residents that stay in this hotel. The only things we didn’t like was the bed. It was too firm for us, but that is a personal preference and I won’t hold it against the host. The second thing is the location. We were 5 miles from Rome and thought that the metro or train would go out to Grottaferrata but sadly it does not. It was inconvenient when you want to spend most of your time in Rome. You are left with no option but to taxi or use the bus, and the busses always get stuck in traffic. It would take us about 1 hour one way to get into Rome. These old busses were terrible and often run late. In the future we would prefer to stay closer in just to avoid the busses at all cost. That being said, these are probably also preferences. If you prefer to get away from the city and don’t mind taking a bus, taxi, or driving then this might be a great option for you. For us, it wasn’t ideal but we made the best of it. Overall the property itself was fine, we just didn’t like the location and public transportation.

Ottima struttura, ottimo anche lo staff, disponibile e gentile. Se tornerò ai castelli credo proprio che pernotterò qui nuovamente!!

Nice queen and king beds. Very comfortable. 15 minutes to airport
