The property is very nice. The cabins are fairly close together, but they have nice privacy walls with firewood and patio walls. We had zero cell reception (t-mobile) and the wifi was really only good for texts/email, but this was all known ahead of time. The Murphy bed worked well with kids and they enjoyed running around to the playgrounds and creek. We will definitely consider coming back in the summer....the outdoor seating and grill looked fun. Super convenient location to Monarch mountain.

Amazing place.
One of our favorite places to stay right down from Monarch Ski Resort. Close to town. Beautiful and private property. A cozy and comfortable taste of the Colorado Highlands. Fun for everyone. Dog friendly.
Super stay with cozy accommodations for the whole family, dogs too! Re-booked for the Christmas… we love the Chalet and property so much we’re making it a part of our new holiday family traditions.

Creekside Chalets has nine beautiful chalets along the North Fork of the South Arkansas River just outside Salida, Colorado. The property has six 1 bedrooms, two 2 bedrooms and one 3 bedroom chalet. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, sleeping for at least 6 people and a private hot tub steps from the deck. Our property is located just 10 miles to Monarch Ski Resort and 10 miles to downtown Salida. Come enjoy the pristine rivers and mountains in Salida and relax in your own private chalet.
