This beach house was all the hosts claimed and MORE. Our family (including 2 toddlers) had a wonderful time cooking, eating, visiting and playing together in this spacious and well-kept home. The weather was cool, but we still enjoyed going to the beach every day. If the opportunity occurs, we will return!

Great property close to beach. Offers convenient garage parking for 3 vehicles. 3 levels allows for separation of guests with 3 complete bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked and a hugh dining table was great for our party of 10, that included 4 young children.

Close proximity to the ocean. Large, open kitchen and dining area. Great playroom on the first level which was nice to spend time in.

Beautiful home. Spotless clean. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our 12 family members. Everyone loved the game room. Beach access was a nice 5 minute stroll. We had ages 12-59 at home and everyone loved the layout, large open kitchen area to hang out and cook together. Loved utility room to keep up with all of our laundry during our stay. Home stocked with plenty of beach toys, beach towels ect. We traveled with fans. So we were able to use them on 3 floor loft. If you get hot at night I recommend bringing a fan or two. Otherwise opening the windows and shutters was all we needed. Homeowners were kind and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this home for any family. If you are looking for a party house this is not for you. Neighbors are close as expected for beach homes. We had no issues with neighbors. We tried to be mindful of our cutting up and laughing when doors and windows were open.

We had a great time at Michael and Kristen’s beach house! The house is even prettier in person than in the photos, and far bigger than 4 people needed. Of the whole house I think the pool table was our favorite feature, we played everyday. We had no major issues during our stay at all, the house is quite well equipped and comfortable. There were a few minor nit-picky things to note for future guests though. There was no soap or washcloths (that we could find) for the shower, not a big deal you may just want to pack some. There is no A/C which is in the listing but despite the 63 degree temps at night it is quite humid and the breeze seemed to stop at night...that can make it tough for some to sleep, luckily they did have a fan in the bedroom which helped a lot. There are two fairly steep staircases...worth noting if you have limited mobility (one is only if you choose to visit the loft space), and only basic cable tv available (bring a laptop with HDMI to hook up to the smart tv for any access to streaming services). There is WIFI throughout the house but service is spotty at times. The positives FAR outweigh those few things and I highly recommend this place for a relaxing beach getaway. They had loads of beach equipment and towels including great shaded chairs and boogie boards, we did bring our own beach umbrella though we didn’t use it due to the wind. Keypad access to the house was convenient, the kitchen could not be stocked better and the view of the sunset is awesome, the living room is spacious and the cool breeze that passes through when the windows are open is so nice. They had comfy beds with extra pillows and sofas with throw blankets, great water pressure and beautiful bathrooms with soft bath towels, a huge dining table and kitchen island, pool table, foosball table, arcade games and so many board games... the house is just fantastic! Some things to note about the area, the beach is definitely walking distance but once you hit sand it’s a good walk to water which might be tough for some, this beach is also very windy and it’s a cold wind, bring long sleeves (we visited in late July), there are no lifeguards and no bathrooms at the area of beach near the house. The beach was super flat with waves that are better for swimming in rather than boogie boarding and was almost totally empty, the sand is nice and soft, not rocky. The only rocks are in the water where the waves hit, my family appreciated having water shoes for that. We spent a bit of time at Ventura Harbor Village only a few minute drive away, there were lots of restaurants to choose from, ice cream, shops, an old arcade, paddle boats and other rentals for the harbor, it’s a great family spot. We also ate at Toppers pizza, they have a great harbor view and the pizza was awesome. We checked out downtown Ventura but many things were closed, maybe because it was Thursday, not sure, weekends might be better there, lots of restaurants over there though. Our visit was Monday-Friday so the crowds were minimal everywhere, a perfect Covid getaway! We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future, though maybe with a bigger group next time!
