Marloth Park · 整套民居 · 3室4床2.0卫 · 可住6人 · Selah on Butterfly- Pause..reflect...and find rest
This spacious, thatched, self-catering Bush home is nestled in Marloth Park. Take a stroll or drive to the river (+-850m) and enjoy a sun-downer in one of the look-out points along the Crocodile river and the Kruger National Park. Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala and much more roam freely in Marloth Park and frequently visit the garden along with an abundance of bird species. The park boasts it's own Lionspruit Game Reserve which is open to visitors and residents of the Park at a small fee. Selah is a free-standing thatched bush home with no immediate neighbours making it an extremely private and peaceful experience. Relax with a drink on the veranda or have a dip in the pool while animals visit the garden through the day. The upstairs deck offers views over the tree-tops, a relaxing space to enjoy an African sunrise, good book or just bask in the sounds of the bush. The resident Lesser and Greater bush baby's will make their appearance most evenings, just after dark. Feel free to chop a banana or two and some strawberry yoghurt on the feeders for a very close up experience.
The Airbnb is absolutely precious and very well located. It is private except for the occasional bush baby and wilderbeest visiting us.
Excelente . Muito limpa bonita e cuidada. Na ha barulho. tudo muito tranquilo. certamente vou voltar.
The house has character, is spacious and comfortable for a group of 6, so that you do not feel on top of one another. The children loved the little splash pool and was perfect to cool down in the humidity of SA. The animals do not disappoint - we had visitors every day and all day; various species of buck, warthog, zebra, monkeys, mongoose as well as the bush babies. Thank you Pauline ☺️
Selah is a great family retreat in the heart of the African bush. The house is delicately furnished with all the trimmings and a touch of class. Aminals roam the gardens regularly and are peaceful but still wild so be careful to approach them. Enjoy your stay.
The peacefulness of the surroundings are the draw card for "Selah" and explain the meaning of the house's biblical name-" Pause and Reflect".
Absorb the sounds of Africa and relax in them.
Marloth park is well sign posted. Driving, cycling or walking would be the convenient way to get around. The Crocodile river is approximately 850m from Selah, in walking distance. Bring your bikes and cycle, or walk the path along the fence, experiencing awesome views of the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park.
自我介绍
I love life, family, friends and travel. I live in Umtentweni on the Lower South coast of Kwazulu Natal with my husband Kevin, our 2 spaniels Gracie and Bentley. Although busy during the week we enjoy the odd weekend away in our little caravan to recharge our batteries and try to explore further from home when we have the time, staying in self catering accommodation along the way. Selah has been a dream of ours for a couple of years now and it came true in August 2015 when we finally had the keys to our own little piece of Africa. Our love for the bush just made us realise that we needed to share this love with those that have the same heart! Unfortunately I'm not there to meet each guest in person but I have a wonderful network of people who assist me in all ways. We are " Blessed beyond measure".
