在Metera城堡住了短短两天，留下了非常深刻的记忆和有趣的回忆。 对于中国游客而言Portofino都是冷门的城市，Metera城堡更是罕见的访问地。我的司机在意大利生活二十多年，都感慨“你是怎么找到这地方的”。按中国人的说法，这是缘分。 Metera建于1400年，相当于中国的明朝初期，同时期保存至今的中国建筑物已经不多（因为传统采用木结构)，我能想到的是北京的天坛。所以住在Metera的感觉非常奇妙，感觉活在漫长历史的痕迹中。墙上的家族画像也充满故事，有看到意大利红衫军、枢机主教（抱歉我不熟悉意大利历史，只是根据服装猜测），是一个能够看到传承的历史缩影。 即使不考虑这些，Metera本身也非常美丽，你甚至可以用美丽的房间复刻出很多名画的场景，我们尝试拍摄一些致敬名画的有趣照片，是本次旅行中一群朋友之间很有趣的场景。 露台可以看到很美的晚霞，阁楼可以看到漂亮的朝霞，值得多住两天。 Alberto作为城堡主人非常友善和绅士，帮女士们搬了行李，帮我们定了好吃的餐厅（后来我们又去了）。整个过程中细心确认了所有问题，英语非常好，语言技能尚可的朋友不用担心无法和意大利房东沟通的问题。 向广大中国游客推荐Metera！ 期待未来再见！

The host was very helpful and friendly. He gave precise information about the place. Place is really beautiful for whoever wants to stay out of the crowds but not to far from it.

We loved this wonderfully located, unique & historical property. The listing photos & description are accurate. Staying in the Mereta Castle is a majestic step back in time, with some amenities updated to more modern conveniences. The overall feel is what I would describe as magically eccentric. We found it a perfect base for a short stay where we visited both the Cinque Terre & Portofino. The weather was not on our side - pretty significant rains, so we were not able to enjoy the stunning outdoor features of the property - including the pool with amazing view. We had 4 couples in our group & the castle had plenty of gathering space & large dining tables. We did not cook on site, but the kitchen was more than functional. Upstairs bedroom bathroom is tiny. Be prepared for lots of steps from car port to house & within the house to bedrooms & kitchen. Prop mngr Sylvia was so helpful & responsive during our stay - even though she was getting married on property the day we checked out!

Incredible historic home integrated with modern conveniences created a perfect setting for our group. Kitchen/tavern area and pool are exceptional, and bedrooms were very comfortable. Alberto was always responsive from our initial booking onward, and Silvia was attentive and very helpful in so many ways! Fabulous dinner at nearby Pepen and easy access from charming Chiavari to many scenic sights and day trips. Just a note that the road to/from is quite narrow and winding, but the views from Castle Mereta are extraordinary.
