If you are looking to get an experience of royalty in the place and hospitality, this is the place. Our initial thought was a bit scarry since we reached the place in a pitch dark time and asked directions for the fort, since fort is dilapidated people were wondering what we're we up to, the location on Google also pointed to the same. But then we called the caretaker and found that the "palace" was in adjacent block. We were received by a pool of hosts and had a welcome drink, the way I would love it - my tea. We instantly felt at home and kept listening to stories from the staff. Nice surroundings we noticed in the morning, a village, a grand 400 year old temple, a heritage building in the fort, a pond etc. This is the place if you want to be away from noisy city places and relax. Ideal for reading, writing or simply doing nothing while to relish the home cooked food. Highly recommended.
