The place is away from bustle, good for quiet walks and is surrounded by beautiful lush green forest with nice tracks to walk around. Food was decent though we had to ask and remind them for most meals. It became difficult as we had a kid and had to wait long times. It might have been because of a large group staying there who were friends/ relatives of the host. This also meant some loud gatherings and parties into the night. So there wasn’t much attention to detail accorded to our group. The room was comfortable and large with a balcony. It was quite old though. However, the value we got for the price we paid was less. We booked the place via Airbnb where the total came to 7800 per night for one room - 2 adults and a child. Lunch and dinner was additional. We recommend approaching the host directly or via booking dot com to check for a lower price as Airbnb cost is very high.

Gift your eyes the lush green of the mountains , your lungs the fresh air of the forest and your stomach the well-prepared and even well served food from the farm. Visit Mr.Thendup and enjoy his hospitality at Yangsum heritage farm.

Yangsum farms highly recommended. Great locales,ethnic food, above all great host. It's worth every penny u spend. Simple,straightforward yet satisfying.Special note of thanks to manisha, priyanka for the culinary and forest journeys... you guys rock.Lastly Mr.Thendup, keep up the great job you are awesome..

Amazing place! The cabin is beautiful with the best views. Thendup and his family took care of me in every way, with the best homely food, advice on places to see in the area and just great hospitality. I cannot speak highly enough of the beautiful surroundings, the comfort of the house and how much care they put into every detail. Try to stay a few days to fully enjoy the farm an all that has to offer. I felt so lucky to find this rare gem. Thanks again!

Tashi Thendup was a wonderful host, he ensures personal care is provided to every guest. A very picturesque location and an earthy one with a lot of options to connect with nature and village folk. The view from the Resung Monastery was stunning! It was a pleasure staying at this property and we would love to come back.
