This was our 3rd stay at Old Camp Joy! It has become one of our favorite places to visit. Tom and Katherine are the sweetest couple! They treat my kids like their own. They take the time to listen to their questions about the property and animals. Very welcoming and always so cheerful to see you. Definitely recommend to visit! If you enjoy to unplug and relax, this is the spot for you! ❤️

We loved our stay! The hosts live on the property and are very welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable during our whole stay. The checkin/out process is very easy. The home was perfect for our family! It was fully stocked throughout. We really enjoyed the lake view, fire and overall property, very tranquil! We definitely recommend this place! Thank you Tom and Katherine for hosting us!

Fue una experiencia mágica, la cabaña es acogedora y tiene todas las comodidades. Esta rodeado de naturaleza es maravilloso. Caminar y leer viendo la laguna, escuchar el canto de los pájaros. Los anfitriones son amigables y están dispuestos ayudarte si necesitas cualquier cosa. Nos sentimos bien atendidos.

Lovely cabin by the water! We lost power a couple times the first night but it honestly wasn’t too bad. Water was a bit gross for swimming but our dogs loved it and we enjoyed the kayak/canoe. I wish they had darker sheets/towels for a lakehouse. We ended up buying some darker towels since it was raining and we didn’t want to ruin their towels. Bring shampoo because there is none. We would come back

It's a beautiful and quite. The cottage we stayed in was spacious for being a cottage. Loved the table and all the seating inside and on the porch. My only issue was - The house does not have a TV, WiFi, or DVD player. I didn't know about this until after I booked and was reading the house manual and saw under WiFI - Media Free. It is NOT stated in the written description of the home. We booked same day of arrival on a last minute decision to do ABnB instead of hotel. I did confirm the lack of TV or WiFi prior to making the 5 hour drive. Soooooo we brought a TV and DVD player w us for the kiddos to enjoy in the evenins. (I do feel that in today's times - At least one TV w DVD player should be available in each of the 3 cabins on site) During the day we spent our time fishing and cannoing on the lake. Kids really enjoyed the tree swings. The grounds are beautiful and serene. We did truly enjoy our time w our family and the space worked well for us.
