Eight of us friends spent a night at Bruno's historic place on our way back to CDG. It was truly a great experience to stay at such a historic place. Pictures and words can not describe the feeling of sitting in the great room in front of the fireplace with friends. Bruno was very informative from the time of booking and trough out our stay.

We had a magical stay at Le Donjon. It was immaculate and charming. Not only is the property majestic (both inside and outiside) with a feast for your eyes in every corner of every room, but it also felt equally warm and intimate. It is obviously a loved home with memories and stories inside it's walls. Bruno was a lovely host and made both check out and check in convenient and easy. We are dreaming of the day we can return and stay longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Donjon! The surrounding village is gorgeous with charming cafes, boulangeries and a great bookshop even in the middle of winter. The Donjon is incredible - so much history that we loved exploring, whilst also being comfortable. Bruno was a wonderful host! Nothing was too much trouble and he really made us feel so welcome.

This was one of the most memorable stays we ever had! The Donjon is absolutely magnificent, beautiful, outstanding and as a bonus, within walking distance of all you might need: restaurants, bakeries, stores and historical buildings. This is an absolute gem ! Amazing history (nearly 900 years old, built by King Louis VI!) and at the same time great comfort and great amenities. Magnificent garden, and wonderful fireplace inside. The kitchen is fantastic, too, fully equipped and stocked and with room for all ten of us to have meals together (though we could have used the dining table - billard as well). Lets of things to do: billard, baby foot, tons of boardgames. Two of the bedrooms are huge, with wonderful views, the other 4 or cozy and great as well. Bruno went out of his way to help, was always responsive, and connected us a Cordelia, who prepared and served a meal for us directly in the Donjon. He even lent us a projector and a screen for a slide show! Go - you will not regret it!

Séjourner au Donjon est une expérience unique! Nous y étions pour un week end familial et je recommande la saison de l automne où les journées peuvent être ensoleillées et le feu de cheminée bien apprécié le soir . L environnement du Donjon, avec son parc, la vue sur les jardins à la française et la proximité du Loing, est magnifique. chaque pièce du donjon a quelque chose d historique à raconter . La maison regorge de meubles anciens et d objets artistiques et de décoration. le baby-foot et le billard ont été appréciés. Enfin , l accueil de Bruno est parfait avec toutes les explications techniques (clés et serrures 😀!) et historiques nécessaires pour apprécier le séjour à sa juste valeur . Merci à Bruno et sa famille d avoir permis qu un lieu comme celui ci soit entretenu et accessible à la location.
