Michele’s apartment is super cute and clean. Beautiful view and garden overlooking the lake. The stairs up are very tiring after a long night out, so I would recommend taking a taxi or driving in a car. Overall, great experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michele's cozy Perledo getaway. It had a basic but cozy and welcoming interior and was well stocked. We lacked no amenities. The location has pros and cons. It‘s in Perledo which is quiet but that is exactly what we wanted and you have a good restaurant and supermarket fulfilling all your needs. But if you're not local by car, be prepared for a 4km walk to Varenna. Off-season buses and cabs don't run at late hours, and walking through a pitch black, slippery path at 11pm in the rain is quite adventurous :D (if you're ever in this situation just walk by the road cause taking the hiking route up can be a bit risky for the not surefooted or experienced) All in all: Definitely a place we'd come back to, great bang for your buck and a beautiful location with a great host! He was always reachable and helpful. The battery for the thermostat needed changing and he changed it while we were out and within an hour, thank you for your hospitality Michele!
