this location is like no other! absolutely gorgeous views from the patio where I sat, drank my morning tea and had breakfast. You can take it all in and feel like you've been transported to another place and time. the room was perfect for what I needed. i just stayed the night, so having the bare essentials with the kitchenette was all I really needed. Shower functioned nicely, hot water comes on fast and cold water is nice and refreshing! I didn't interact much with the host, but when I did, he responded quickly! all in all, wonderful stay! Thanks Drew for opening your home!
This place was great!! Make sure to get there before dark because the it gets very dark, and the roads close to the house are real mountain roads. (Winding and narrow). The bed was comfy and the view from the porch was spectacular!
I had a lovely stay at Drew's place up Topanga Canyon. I wanted to stay close, but a bit more secluded from LA even though all my activities were in some more populated area, and Drew's place offered the perfect locale for me. I appreciated the beauty of the surroundings as well as the roads to get there. I did several hikes in the area while I was staying here as well. Santa Monica was just 30 minutes away, and a trip to the Getty Museum took just 40 minutes to arrive. Drew was very friendly upon meeting and we had a great conversation. Overall I would definitely try to stay here again on my next visit to the area. Thanks so much!
Drew’s place was a beautiful oasis that offered peace and serenity when I needed it most. It is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of noisy LA. I absolutely enjoyed this beautiful getaway, which offered incredibly beautiful walks around the spectacular Topanga neighborhood, right next door to beautiful hikes, cute little shops just down the canyon, and great restaurants not too far away. The view at the stay is absolutely breathtaking and pictures cannot do it justice (great place to meditate). Drew was a kind and welcoming host. I absolutely recommend this place. It almost feels like you might be taking a vacation to another country, with great la neighborhoods just down the mountain.
Great location and excellent guide book! The drive up can be a little intense at first, but you get used to it! Would stay again!
