We really enjoyed our stay, from the beautifully appointed rooms and light filled spaces to the quiet, private location. The beds were really comfortable, and the towels and bedding were fantastic. We were able to take a lovely canoe ride on the lake and having the boats/paddle board ready to go on the small beach was very convenient. There is not a microwave on site, which was not a big deal, but I had cooked before coming and reheating was a bit of a challenge. The projector was also not available as expected, which was a bummer on movie night, and we did not receive a response from the host when we reached out. This was also fine for us since we were able to pivot and enjoy reading by the fire, but it would have been nice to enjoy as it was an advertised amenity.

Robin’s cabin was wonderful. My wife and I booked the stay to enjoy some quiet time away from the city, and this cabin served that purpose very well. The house is only about 100 yards from and has unobstructed views of a beautiful lake, and they provide kayaks and canoes if you’re visiting at a warmer time of year. The cabin can get cold in the winter months so be prepared to use the wood stove if arriving in winter. Robin was kind enough to provide logs before our arrival, and you will find plenty of kindling around the cabin. Robin was also very responsive and helpful when we ran into an unexpected issue during our stay. Finally, the cabin is a quick drive away from town centers in Rhinebeck, Kingston, and Hudson. I certainly would recommend if you’re looking for an escape to nature!

I stayed for 3 nights with my family and my whole group loved the house. We arrived very late the first night so had a little trouble finding the house initially, but reread the directions and were able to find it. The space fit 5 adults comfortably. The views were beautiful of the lake, but since it is remote 4 wheel drive was needed (as mentioned in the listing). It’s about 15 minutes outside of the downtown area of Rhinebeck. The house does have a camera on the outside, which was fine but I couldn’t find mentioned in the listing. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area. Owner was responsive to questions we had, house was clean and comfortable, and the property was great with its water access.

Nice location. It would be really nice in spring, summer and fall. The road to the home needs some work. Many potholes. Had some issues Robin said she would take care of. Don't be like me and assume there would be a microwave. There is not a microwave. I like my popcorn😁
