This place has a very good location, it is at the end of the village, the last house, near the house there is a big grassfield, very enjoyable for dogs. The house is older, but comfortable, with very cozy living room and kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed. The rooms are not equally comfortable, there are smaller and bigger rooms (probably 14 persons would be too much for the house). The part in the basement is less agreable. For dog owners, the fence is not finished, the front part is not completed and they could escape. You should know that the owner is not living in Slovakia, but communicates very quickly via Airbnb, the neighbour who welcomed us was friendly. But if you need more assistance during your stay, it could be more difficult.

We shad a family reunion at Ruud's place - eight adults and four children age 4-9 - and we spent an entire week. The location was a great fit for us, well accessible by car but at the very end of the village. The forest walks started right behind the house and a number of interesting sights was within 10-45 min drive. We also appreciated the garden, where the kids played soccer almost every evening. The house was clean and well equipped for such a large group, including the necessary appliances (large dining table, dishwasher, washing machine, enough towels, etc.). We also made use of sauna. I was a bit worried about one of the bedrooms being located in the basement (as mentioned by one of the reviewers), but it was equally well set up as the other bedrooms, so not a problem at all. Ruud sent very good instructions before our arrival, and also a number of good tips about what to see and what to do. Our contact person on the spot, Hanka, was very outgoing and responsive. The combination of location, nature, garden and possibilities for various activities make it a great stay for families. There is a slight improvement potential, but this will not affect the overall positive a relaxing atmosphere.
