The stay here was fantastic! This was our first accommodation during a 3-month trip, and we're glad it was. It's so clean that there are hardly any insects inside (unique in Bali), and the surrounding beautiful garden is maintained daily. It's clear that the host family, living next to the accommodation, enjoys renting it out. They are happy to assist with any requests you have. The host family's grandchildren also sometimes came by to play in the pool, which was very cozy for our daughter to have a playmate. Compared to the Airbnbs we've seen (5 in total), this is absolutely the most beautiful and clean. As a suggestion (I believe you should always provide one), I would recommend an option for a mosquito net in the bedroom to fend off mosquitoes. The neighborhood is also great; right outside the door is a good and affordable Western restaurant where you can order via Gojek for pickup. thanks for your guidece and hospitality!

We stayed at this wonderful Sanur apartment for a month and it truly became a home away from home. Attached to the owner's house but very private (with its own entrance), the apartment is full of beautiful Indonesian wooden furniture and artworks, while the garden (with fish pond in the front and large swimming pool in the back) is beautifully maintained. With a desk and a fast wifi connection it's perfect for remote work, and it's also ideal for families – our four year old loved splashing about in the pool. It's such a clean and comfortable place; we all slept so well. While it's a really quiet area – no nighttime noise and a view of rice fields – there's a great cafe located right next door, an excellent spa a minute's walk away and a kids' club just down the road. Margit, her family and her staff members were fantastic hosts – we enjoyed their company and appreciated their advice and contacts. We already miss it and will dream of returning one day!

If you're seeking a homely and secure place to stay in Sanur, a great location not far from the beach but still in a quiet area, then I highly recommend this place. FYI, the property is in a residential area, sharing the same owner with the main house (where the owner resides) and two joglos (1-bedroom wooden houses). The house we stayed in is exceptionally spacious, spanning two floors with two large bedrooms and many windows. Our kids loved the kids' room, which is actually a living room (just ask the owner to set it up as a bedroom), thanks to its large window and beautiful view. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a comfortable working desk, making it a perfect place for remote work. The people here are wonderful. Deta is very pleasant, quiet, and helpful. Living next to them actually made us feel even safer. Habibi and Mbak Pembantu are also very friendly and helpful. Another highlight is the swimming pool – it's not only large but also incredibly beautiful.

Just stop looking and book here if it’s available before someone else grabs it first - you won’t be sorry! It’s not on the beach but it’s only a few minutes on a grab scooter for 50 cents to get there or $2.50 grab car and the serenity and view of nature in the beautiful yard is a whole lot better away from the Sanur strip.Great cafe at the end of the driveway, small supermarket a few minutes walk. Deta and her son Paul are a dream team - so friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Paul was an amazing translator and go to guy for us. We are booking again for next year.
