Awesome stay at Iwatake apartments, right on the ski field and great drying room for all your gear.
The location was beautiful and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Great for a skiing trip with an amazing dry room. The laundry facilities were also a bonus. Daniel was an excellent host and very hospitable. He helped with recommendations for skiing, transportation, etc. and was very responsive. We had a great trip and will likely stay there again.
Having a great place to stay during a winter vacation makes the difference between a bad or a great trip. Daniel's apartment is one of those that made the trip great. It has everything we require. Most importantly the apartment is warm while it's snowing outside. Daniel and his wife were polite and helpful throughout our stay, making recommendations and reservations for us as well. Thank you once again and I look forward to another stay with them.

Warmly recommending Daniel and Ayako’s place. Super nice apartment with amazing welcoming host. Right next to iwatake lift. We had a great stay for 3 days including summer mountain biking.

Your hosts, Ayako and Daniel are waiting to welcome you to Hakuba, our home. Ayako is Japanese and Daniel (Australian) has lived in Japan since the year 2000. Ayako and Daniel have over 14 years experience running self-contained accommodation (Hakuba Holiday) as well as food and beverage venues in the ski resort town of Hakuba. They and their team offer great service to all of their guests and are always on hand for advice or help. They work hard to ensure that your holiday in Hakuba is fantastic. All of the properties owned and operated by Hakuba Holiday have been carefully designed and built by the owners, Ayako and Daniel. Their approach is to create self-contained accommodation that they personally would love to live in. All properties operated by Ayako and Daniel are either ski-in, ski-out or just a stone's throw from a snowfield. They feel that convenience and comfort are the key factors in a great holiday experience and through their business, Hakuba Holiday, they strive to make sure that every guest leaves Hakuba with a smile on their face.
