The house was awesome! It fit perfectly for 6 adults, newborn and 2 dogs. It was cozy and comfortable. I really want to give 5 stars, but 10 days after we left- I received an email saying they want $160.00 for damage. They sent a picture of the umbrella that is in the backyard and it was now broken. We sat at the table where the umbrella was, but never once touched the umbrella. To mention something 10 days after we left- anything could have happened between then.
Our host/contact person Laurie was friendly and helpful over messaging. We never met anyone who managed the property which was fine as it gave us the feeling of freedom and privacy. The home was as described, and Laurie was understanding that we needed to arrive about 15 minutes after their last check-in time of 7 p.m. I did feel like such a short check-in time allowed only between 5 and 7 p.m. was a bit restrictive but the home was lovely and as mentioned Laurie was accommodating. It was quiet and in a nice neighborhood with great views of the mountains. The kitchen was furnished much better than described and everything worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.
Overall our stay was good. When we arrived the driveway was not plowed. If it wasn’t for a generous neighbor who brought his plow over, we would not have gotten our vehicle into the driveway. We had to use the back door which was not specified in the instructions. The home itself was warm and as described. It was cozy, some things were outdated. We did not have cell service so calling for any issues was not an option. The backyard was fun to play in and it was quite and peaceful. Not a lot around the area, but town was 15-20mins away. We lost power a few times but it quickly came back on. Check out instructions were clear. Overall it was a wonderful time with our family.
Very nice place. My family is very satisfied. The snowy scene in the back allowed the two dogs to have fun.
