Fantastic setting. Liz, family and staff all so cheerful and helpful. We were upgraded to Carriage Cottage, and it was comfortable setting for a family of 4. The 25c weather made for a lovely break, and outside facilities and BBQ were also good.. Lots to see and do in/ around the Severn and gorge.

We had a lovely long weekend. The cottage was perfect for a family of four and had everything we needed, including tea, coffee and sugar. Take your own dishwasher tablets if you want to use the dishwasher otherwise there was plenty of washing up liquid provided. It was very clean and tidy. The hallways are very big which we really liked and made the cottage feel much bigger than shown in photos. The grounds of the house are beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the Gamekeepers cottage, a really comfortable space with all you need. Liz was always very quick to respond and very helpful with anything that came up. Such a beautiful location with walks straight from the doorstep. We had a tour around the big house which is beautiful. So many lovely places to visit in the surrounding area, highly recommend Stokesay Castle and a wander around Bridgnorth. We would love to visit again.

Beautiful house and cottage. Liz was very friendly and I loved waking up in the quiet pretty grounds surrounding the house. Great pub at the end of the drive.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is beautiful and we were able to walk around Davenport House grounds. The cottage itself was much bigger than expected, there is a DVD player there so take some DVDs for the evening if needed. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The only issue we faced was that there weren't any hangers but we were unsure if that was due to covid - so my little tip is to take some hangers with you. We would definitely recommend staying here and would recommend the farm shop nearby which has a lovely butchers and tasty ice cream. We were sad to leave. Thank you Liz for our relaxing break away.
