We had THE most relaxing stay at the cottage. There were 4 of us and 3 dogs. The cottage has stunning views, is spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything was in full working order. There was also a BBQ, which we made good use of whilst there. The setting of the cottage is idyllic directly facing Alnmouth across an estuary and with glorious sand dunes a mere 5 minutes walk, leading to a wonderful beach where you can beachcomb for sea glass. We visited a few villages nearby and had a bar meal in Amble. Everywhere is completely dog friendly. My partner was able to go trout fishing at a nearby fishery. Simone was fantastic in her communications, providing prompt responses from pre booking onwards. Like many other reviews I highly recommend this wonderful place.
An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Peaceful and a short walk to a lovely coastline. Accommodation exceeded expectations. Really comfy, well laid out and spacious.

When I was a child my parents use to bring me up to Alnmouth for old fashioned bucket & spade beach holidays with my sister and brother - I thoroughly enjoyed these family times and have very fond memories of them. When I had my children I wanted to come back to Alnmouth because I always thought it would be an ideal childhood for my son & daughter . Due to me always being in the holiday industry I set up a Bed and Breakfast which was busy and fun. However I always knew there was a market for luxury holiday lets so I developed a 7 bedroomed house into a large holiday let which would sleep up to 14 people and called it Sefton House. That was sold a few years ago I then took over a complex called Waterside which were 3 old sawmills that had been made into holiday lets. These overlooked the estuary near Alnmouth and have been hugely popular. They have been an ideal spot for all nature lovers who just want to get away from city life. However they are only a stone throw away from the picturesque village of Alnmouth. I then developed a lovely piece of land in close proximity to the cottages - I acquired 3 older caravans and totally renovated them inside & put them on the land right next to the Estuary. The decking is a fantastic viewpoint for anyone who loves peace, quiet and nature all around. They are called Estuary View Caravans - Upper Deck, Lower Deck & Captains Retreat.
