A delightful place to stay. It was like traveling back in time to a bygone era. I loved the period furnishings and decorations. Ida was a very thoughtful and gracious hostess. The sausage cheese muffins and chocolate cake were simply delicious. Although Mama Hardy’s B&B is a bit off the beaten path it is well worth the drive to get there. Such a tranquil and serene location. I would recommend Mama Hardy’s to anyone who would like a peaceful place to stay.

Mama Hardy's is a delightful, charming Bed and Breakfast. The Decor, Art, and Furnishing were so very pleasing to gaze upon. The Hospitality Ida provided made you feel very special. The History of the Home is quite interesting .

A great get away. Loved it. Ida is a pleasure and gave us the full history of the place and the area. She also had some great literature out on the Institute history. Recommend you read "a moment in time". Of course I'm a history nerd so I might love that more than other folks. The house is charming. Ida was so friendly and hospitable. What others say about the age of the house - well its an old house. So you take the character with everything else.

Ida greeted us at the door and gave us an over view of the home as well as a brief history. She had available a breakfast of coffee, sausage muffins, fritters, doughnuts, fresh fruit and orange juice. We had the upstairs to ourselves. Ida offered us transportation to Chef and the Farmer. We did not see her after the initial introduction. Her home provided a very pleasant overnight stay!
