The location is amazing and it’s such a wonderful experience to be in the woods for a few days. If you don’t mind having an outside toilet, please go to this place because it’s amazing. There are some great hikes, wonderful lakes and you can pluck your own fruits (cloudberries and blueberries).

We had a short two-night’s stay and it was amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the view from the cottage is stunning. The host family was very friendly. They welcomed us in person and led us to the place for parking which was also the starting point of the trail to the cottage. The location of the cottage was easy to find using the print map and digital map coordinates provided by the host family. It took us about 45 mins to hike to the cottage with relatively light luggage.

A charming and cozy cabin surrounded by a beautiful nature and with stunning views to the lake, sea and mountains. What a wonderful experience for nature lovers. The host Per was very friendly and helpful and replied quickly to any queries.

Premier séjour dans le nord de la Norvége pour observer les aurores boréales et outre le fait que les conditions furent absolument parfaites (çà n’est pas courant), je ne pouvais pas imaginer un meilleur spot pour contempler le ciel et profiter de la nature sauvage. Le chalet est situé sur un plateau naturel, aux abords d’un lac et le balcon offre un panorama sur les chaînes montagneuses environnantes ainsi que la mer, nous étions seuls au monde pendant 3 merveilleuses journées à explorer le massif. Tout le nécessaire est à disposition pour profiter des lieux, l’intérieur est bien agencé et cosy à souhait. Aucune pollution sonore ni visuelle et le sommeil fut d’or. Nos hôtes très agréables et réactifs. L’expérience fut complète, prix imbattable!
