Very good location for exploring Exmoor. Charming cottage, very comfortable with a good size bed for very tall husband. We would return here for another holiday in the area.

We had a lovely stay at April Cottage. It was full of cottage character, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect our Two Moors Way walking and a stones throw from the fabulous Mason’s Arms. Dolores was helpful, friendly and very prompt in all communications. Would highly recommend.

Dolores' cottage was the perfect getaway. It was clean, cosy, and even smelt wonderful as soon as you walked inside. It's the perfect hideaway from everyday life. You feel like you're in a fairy tale, from the exposed beams and low ceilings to the sofas in front of the fire. Being somewhat attached to my phone, the no WiFi and spotty signal worried me at first, but I am thankful that there was no connection to my phone. You just enjoy the peace and quiet. As a host, Dolores was perfect, much like her property. She was responsive in a very timely manner, respectful and kind, and didn't get annoyed at all of the questions I was asking! I would 100% stay again. I suffer from a chronic illness, which unfortunately stops me from getting a good sleep. However, the first night there and I slept through the night for the first time in years! I miss that bed already! Thank you for letting us stay!

We had a lovely stay at April cottage. It's very old and full of character. Good communication from the host. Fantastic pub just up the road. We enjoyed exploring and it was very peaceful. The 2 things that would make it even better is a shower ( although the bath was lovely with plenty of hot water) and WiFi. Having said that, we would definitely visit again. Thank you
