With our tropical fruit trees around the room within arms reach, expect some jack fruits, durian and langsat during the fruit season at the end of the year.
Also there is a Dog-Sounding-Barking Gecko living under the house so you will hear it ocassionaly.
There arent much activity here other than you enjoy your cup of tea/wine. Finish your work online with efficient phone internet line (Digi and Maxis lines are 4G up there). Finish that book your have been reading/writting. Or you can just do nothing at all while getting lost in the scenic valley view.

You are advised to arrive to the parking place by car(I will send location) or arrange pickup and return service (RM160). It is 28KM or 30 minutes drive from the airport/city. Before you come, make sure you have stocked some food to cook at the place or bring with you Maxis/Digi mobile phone network provider. The place is away from cities and closest convinient store is 15-20 minutes HIKE DOWN back to the carkpark and another 5 minute walk on the road.
If you are staying for more than a night, I suggest hiring a car or sorting out a guided tour with me.
The Segong/Singgai area is filled with mountainous thick forests and some of the most pristine rivers (about 5 km away or 10 minutes drive from the mountain foot) where you can just swim and enjoy your time alone. It is 25 minutes drive to Bau (a suburb town 1 hour from Kuching), 30 Minutes drive Siniawan Night Market (A weekend night market with Old Asian Mining Town Theme) and 50 minutes towards Serikin Market (where you will also pass by Wind Caves/Fairy Cave along the way) by car.
