Our Cottage is close to all the quaint shops and restaurants. You can golf, gamble, ski, ride horses or just relax! You’ll love our place because of the cozy French country cottage ambience. There's a lovely deck on the back to watch the creek meander by and deer stop to take a drink! It's the perfect place to drink a cup of tea/coffee/wine and watch the world go by. In the winter, wrap up in a cozy throw by the fireplace! Great for couples and relaxing getaways; NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. La Petit Cottage, built in 1940, sits nestled on Cedar Creek, in Paradise Canyon, surrounded by mountains and pines. Romantic, cozy and serene setting. Approximately 700 square feet, decorated in a French country cottage style. Newly remodeled bath, with a rain shower head, vessel sink, pebble lined shower base, that retains a natural woodland feel. Our kitchen is fully equipped with staples (like spices, cookware, dish-ware) and we provide our quests with different teas and locally packaged coffee to try while at La Petit Cottage. There are 2 bedrooms: The front bedroom (Master bedroom/Red room) comes with a **split mattresses, queen sized temperpedic, adjustable bed**with massage PLEASE NOTE: We’ve had several guests indicate they didn’t enjoy the split queen adjustable bed. We both have bad backs and enjoy adjusting the split queen bed to our individual needs and using the massage really eases sore, tense muscles. But we realize not everyone is comfortable with the offset or split mattresses. We wanted to make you aware of this, before booking, if you’re really picky about your mattress. Some people, like us, really love it! We’re not trying to be ugly or inhospitable, but we’re not changing the bed; it works for us! This is one of the reasons I ask every potential guest to verify that they’ve read the Description. Use the word "Comfort" in your correspondence and I'll know you've read this and understand-You'll get priority status! We've added a bed "bridge" that guests can use, that will bridge the gap/off set (Located in the Red Room/Master bedroom closet at the top of the closet). But it will limit your ability to separately operate the individual head and leg adjustments. There’s a new flat screen tv with HULU access and a white noise machine for those of you who have a hard time falling asleep in a new place. The back bedroom (blue room) has two twin beds, with blanket warmers, a desk with desktop computer. The stackable washer and dryer is located in this room. Free wi-fi access while at the cottage One other thing, La Petit Cottage is a fine old lady (about 80 years old), with charm and good bones, but she does lean a little, especially in the bathroom. While we think these little imperfections only add to her appeal, we want to accurately represent La Petit Cottage, so your expectations are realistic. Oh yes, one last thing, the cottage has low ceilings in the bedrooms and bath-so if you’re tall (6 ft or more), you may have to duck your head to avoid whirling ceiling fans!
