My spouse and I have a long history of hospitality, and making Guests feel welcome in our home whether overnight or for long extended stays. In fact, we owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast in a historic home listed in the National Register of Historic Places along the Missouri River from 1993 to 1999. We hosted large parties on the grounds of the home, along with weddings, receptions, and other events the venue would accommodate. Moving back into "town" allowed us to continue our tradition of great hospitality and service. We are "foodies" and enjoy a wide range of foods and venues for fine dining. Movies we enjoy tend to range from the independent films shown during the City's True/False Film Festival to whatever is current on Netflix! Music is a great part of our lives, and as one will quickly learn, our grand piano is a lively addition to our home making music for family, friends and treasured Guests. When time permits, we enjoy travel, and especially to either the East Coast or West Coast, and always along the shores of the Gulf Coast in my beloved South. With family in California, it is always a choice destination. Our pets included a male Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Duke. Sadly, Duke was euthanized in May-2018, and we miss him greatly, as we know many of our Loyal Guests will have met and enjoyed this grand old man. We have long been owners of this breed, and adore their lively attitudes and loyal ways. We would hope that Guests find us warm, inviting, welcoming, affirming and respectful of time and space.
