It’s the actual vacation home of a family, so it’s not anonymous but has character and some history. You definitely need a car but Massimo was very flexible concerning check-in and check-out which allowed us for a relaxing last day in Sicily. Because of the wild fires there were some extraordinary closures of the airports in Catania and Palermo, so some flights had to be redirected to the close by airport in Comiso. Only because of this there was some noise. But the pool is amazing and there are enough places offering shadow within the big garden and you’ll have a lot of privacy. We were welcomed by Massimos friend Giovanni, and both were available and quick to answer in case we needed anything.

Massimo was a great host, the best one we have ever had, and even though we didn't meet physically, he was in contact with us before and during our stay in his wonderful house, giving us directions, suggesting places to visit, where to do the shopping nearby and making our stay in his house a fantastic experience. The day we arrived, the person in contact had to wait for us because we were delayed one hour and he didn't even mention it, he had a smile in his face and explained everything for us so nicely. He left drinks and fruit in the fridge and offered more when he came to clean the pool. The house was ready for us to come in, the beds made, everything so clean and neat, everything ready for our arrival. There's body soap and lotion, shampoo, sugar, salt, olive oil, vinagre, spices, etc. The size of the house was perfect for us, we were four adults and two children. We enjoyed the inside and specially the outside, they had many tables for different parts of the day with shades and even a hammock.. but the best of the best, as we say in Spanish "la guinda del pastel" was the swimming pool, no words and no pictures can do it justice, a paradise in heaven, and the water so warm!! The children enjoyed it so much and the adults rested sunbathing and relaxing nearby. We went on road trips and it was a pleasure to return home late at night and enjoy a bath in the pool under the stars. A whole pool for us with no timetables, whenever we wanted to use it!! The location of the house was also good for us, we stayed for 10 days and went to visit the Etna, Taormina and Isola Bella, Noto, Agrigento, the valley of temples, Módica, Ortigia... and some beaches also, like sampieri, calasmoche, the Turks stairs... Sicily is beautiful and people are friendly and outgoing! We didn't want to leave and finish our holidays because we felt like at home... There were more places we wanted to visit that were nearby, like scicli, Ragusa, Catania, Villa romana de casale, etc. Maybe next time!! Thank you Massimo for sharing your wonderful home with us

Esperienza unica e speciale! La villa si trova in una zona tranquillissima quindi ottima per rilassarsi! Giovanni è stato super gentile e ci ha coccolati durante la vacanza. Consiglio vivamente ☺️

Onze vakantie was geweldig! Het huis heeft alle comfort en is heel mooi en rustgevend ingericht. Het grote privé zwembad met sfeerverlichting is pure luxe. En Giovanni stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen waar nodig.
