We are ten minutes by car to the local medieval bastide Penne D'agenais where there are five or six very good restaurants and some wonderful walks up to the Basilica. We are lucky to be surrounded by the most amazing countryside and the weather is always sunny so walks are excellent. We have connections with the local equestrian center where you can go and hire a horse and ride to your hearts content. Very reasonable prices too. There are good food shopping facilities, little french markets and boulangerie very near by. There are suppliers of Prunes, Fois Gras, all kinds of farmed fruits and vegetables which are easy to find and purchase. The owner of the property has a connection with wine producers and you can purchase wine form her at the house.

A car is necessary. Our nearest airport is Bergerac which is 55 minutes door to door.
