We really enjoyed our stay at 32 middle street (we are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children.) The location is excellent as you are withing walking distance of all the restaurants in the Galle fort. Also, it is near the front of the fort so very easy to get in and out. We have always wanted to stay in a historic Dutch colonial home in Sri Lanka and 32 middle street was perfect. Very well restored with all the required modern conveniences. The bedrooms were all very spacious with well-equipped bathrooms. The living space is beautiful and well furnished with both modern and colonial furniture. The outdoor area is wonderful with a great pool and many areas to sit and enjoy the peaceful area. The staff were super helpful in arranging tuk tuks and car transfers. They also made great breakfast and were always on hand to provide anything we needed. I would definitely consider staying here again due to the great location, well restored home, and the attentive staff.

A perfect place to stay and relax within Galle Fort. A truly wonderful Chef and Housekeeper are on hand to help with your every need - and the Chef’s food is truly excellent! The accommodation is an oasis of calm and relaxation with a great sense of space. It is tastefully and stylishly decorated and an absolute pleasure to spend time there. We were a party of 6 adults across three generations. It was simply perfect for us all. We highly recommend 32 Middle street and certainly hope we can return one day.

A HUGE thanks to Erandaka and Dulani for looking after the 5 of us so well! 32 Middle Street was made to feel like a perfect base for our 2 nights in Galle. We started each day with a wonderful breakfast (2 options - Western or Sri Lankan) before heading out to see the many sights which Galle has to offer. The rooms were extremely comfortable, as were the pool loungers next to the lovely pool which we used regularly given the temperatures of > 35 degrees. The location itself is away from the busy touristy roads. I would thoroughly recommend this airbnb.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at 32 Middle Street. It accommodated 6 adults and a 5mo baby very comfortably. The location was perfect for visiting galle fort and also for day trips along the coast. We loved having a pool- it’s like a little oasis in the fort. Mr Erandaka and Thulani looked after us incredibly well. The place is spotlessly clean and the meals were outstanding. We loved Mr Erandaka’s vegetarian curries!!! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We, a Danish family in 3 generations enjoyed very Much our 8 days stay in 32 Middle Street. The house and its interiour decoration was excellent and very delicate. It was placed in the Fort in walking-distance to lovely shops and restaurants. The cook and caretaker as well as the housekeeper of the house did a fantastic job and were so kind all the time. Erandaca introduced us to the Sri lankian kitchen with some very lovely dishes. He arranged whatever we Would like to see in a very Nice Way. We all felt very relaxed and had a fantastic holiday. We Can only recommend this place to other guests. Best regards Hanne
