We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the summer to enjoy the sun room and amazing deck that overlooks the stream. Stayed here while we skied June Mountain and loved the peacefulness of the cabin and its location.

We stayed for 4 nights as the fall color was winding down. This was a great restorative stay - we lost our cabin in the El Dorado forest to the Caldor Fire in 2021 and miss the quiet mountain living. Mill creek is absolutely the best background music. We experienced the pros and cons that others have mentioned and overall this is a great value in an incredible mountain location surrounded by nature with privacy and solitude and few neighbors. Martin is a great host and is incredibly responsive with communication. Stairs will need to be traversed to haul all your goodies down into the kitchen and living area from the driveway. As others mentioned, the hot water is barely hot enough precluding use of the big bathtub shown in the listing pictures, and maintenance and cleanliness were a bit below expectation. Bottom line - a very special spot and we would stay again. Thanks again Martin for making the home available!

We love this house. It's right next to a gushing creek and beautiful trees. It's peaceful and in a great location - 10-15 min to the Lundy Canyon trailhead and to Lee Vining.
