We came to Grand Haven for a post-summer-crazy weekend, and spent 2 nights on Robert's boat. It made our weekend - it was such a unique way to stay, and plenty of space for our group (6). The boat was well equipped. There were plenty of sheets and towels, and the common spaces were remarkably spacious for a boat. In fact, we felt like it was a high end hotel! The bathrooms at the marina were easy to get to and extremely nice; having just one on the boat wasn't an issue at all. We were a convenient trip to downtown, though everyone liked hanging out on the boat more! Robert was quick to respond with questions during our stay. If we find ourselves in Grand Haven again, we'd love to stay here!

I stayed with a few of my girlfriends for a short girls trip! We had the best time. Unfortunately for us we were unloading our car and putting our stuff into the boat right as it started down pouring with heavy winds. There was a zipper that was broken in the back cover, which Robert told me about, so everything became soaked. Which I guess is expected on a boat. But the couch cushions out there dried by the mid morning so we could use them. The living and kitchen area was adorable, as well as the bedrooms. Exactly how the pictures portrayed. Because of all of the rain there was some water that leaked into the bathroom below the upper deck. But it was over the counter so we weren’t getting wet. It is an old boat so some wear and tear is expected. Our favorite part was sitting out on the bow of the boat on the huge comfy couch! Robert was very helpful and gave us tips for places to eat. The boat is 2 miles from Downtown Grand Haven so lots of places to get to within 10 minutes. We will definitely be coming back!!

Staying on the boat was a great experience. Robert was easy to communicate with and very flexible with check in ( I wasn't sure I was able to come at first so we postponed our check in). He was helpful when the A/C didn't work as well and was able to talk us through the quick fix. I would definitely stay again.

The amenities and quality advertised unfortunately don’t even come close !!! Dirty & poorly maintained!!! Starters we had to turn off the air-conditioning units because they smelled so moldy my wife was worried about our kids getting sick.. We tried to open up any windows that had screens which currently based on the number windows you have available is less than 20% of your windows have screens and of that 20% 50% of them have holes which mosquitoes swarmed in at night. Front bedroom of the five windows one has s screen which has a large hole. Back bedroom of the four windows one has a screen unattached with a hole. I understand air-conditioning not being listed now but windows without screens and the the windows that had screens almost all had huge gaping holes isn’t accommodating at all.. Before even using the stairs to go to one of the bedrooms I noticed the trim was dangerously loose & touched it with my fingers and it wasn’t even attached so we have removed it for a one night stay so my kids don’t trip on it and fall down the small stairs. Your listing says kitchen with basic cooking needs pots pans and so on we were able to find one rounded bottom sauté pan for flat electric stove which means it took 20 minutes to warm up chicken nuggets for the kids.... no microwave found as a listing mentioned. Bathroom has no lights whatsoever the switch for the lights is there but there is no lightbulbs available or in the light fixture. And just the overall cleanliness of the boat is extremely low.. I understand the outside is impossible to keep clean with fish flys and so on but would’ve thought a wipe down of the upstairs would have been essential for renters to show up and be able to use it. Almost all the zippers on the upstairs were broke on the windows making them totally useless two of them were broken open and I use the duct tape to close them. We have checked in to the adjoining holiday inn for the evening as we are only passing through this area for two nights and don’t wish to stay a second night on your boat.. Thank you Dominic

Great boat and an interesting alternative to a hotel. Very reasonably priced. Had all the amenities we could ask for.
