Monika ma'am is the sweetest host possible. I had to take my father to Disha Eye Hospital and this was the perfect place in terms of convenience and distance. Also, ma'am will make you feel right at home with timely breakfast and tea. A shout-out to a beautiful home and host

I stayed at Monihar for one day with my mother to get her eyes checkup at Disha Barrackpore. The location was perfect for us. The check in was smooth and surprisingly Monica aunty agreed early check in. The room size is big enough. Aunty brought motherly vibes to welcome us at her home. To our surprise, she offered us fresh home made breakfast. Knowing my mother eats vegetarian food without onion/garlic, aunty promptly cooked a separate vegetable for my mother. The experience stands out from any of my previous Airbnb stay. Truely aunty loves meeting and sharing her experiences with the guests. My mother loved every moment spent there . I learnt a lot about her affiliation with mother nature driving her lifestyle and they are priceless takeaways for me. She advised economical options for mobilities around the city and even went extra miles to bargain a price for us with local auto drivers. Given any possibility to stay around this place, I will surely come back.

The host (aunty) is very lovely. The location is just a minutes walk from Wireless Gate. There’s the bus stop and the road left to it takes you to the house. Aunty was there to receive. The house had meaningful elements. Some renovations are also going on to make better stays. She is crafty and takes care of the house on her own. However, she was there for anything that I needed. On request, she made meals too and even took me out for some sweets and samosas. She’s very pleasant, resourceful and involved. Since I was the lone girl travelling in a new place, she checked in and made me feel safe. Ola services are not available however, Uber is. Even then… it’s scarce..so, do pick up on the bus and toto services. She even walked with me to find a toto. It will be a pleasant stay to anyone. Yes, it is not hotel like. It’s a homestay with its own unique taste and lovely host. It felt home.
