自我介绍

Both my husband and I were born in London, and we lived in the South of England until we came out to NZ on holiday in 2006 and somehow ended up buying a vineyard! Brookby Ridge has now been our home since 2006, and it originally came with a 25-hectare vineyard attached, which we have since sold. We adore NZ and Marlborough - one of the best places to live in the whole world, we think, and we’ve travelled extensively - and have made many delightful friends. Running Brookby Ridge Cottage has given us the chance to meet some wonderful people from all over the world, some of whom have become great friends whom we have in turn been invited to visit. Such fun! You will undoubtedly meet our two rather scatty black Labradors during your stay. Both adorable minxes, and the youngest kid on the block arrived with us just before Christmas 2020, whilst the older of the pair is a consummate sock thief, gumboot lover (am amazed that she can pull a large one of these through the dog flap when bored - we think she has ADHD ), rabbiter and total food freak. What is it with Labradors and food?? Reputedly NZ’s naughtiest dog, according to pet insurers - ask our bank manager - and we always thought they were such a well-behaved breed! We all look forward to meeting you when you come to stay in our gorgeous little cottage.
