We really enjoyed our brief stay at Paolo's: beautiful view, easy country-lane walk to the town along a pedestrian path, lovely garden and balconies and the house was comfy, stylish and fully equipped. We enjoyed finding traditional Italian farming, construction and artisan tools reworked into elegant functioning lamps, bedside tables, etc. Can't wait to return for a longer visit!

Superbe emplacement. Décor magnifique. La maison était impeccable. Bien décorée et équipée. Malgré les instructions, nous avons eu de la difficulté à trouver la place et même le lendemain après être sorti pour la journée. Je crois important de dire que la conduite dans les montagnes peut être difficile pour quelqu’un qui a le mal des transports. Vertigineux à certains endroits, les virages sont rapides, ça prend un bon conducteur, de la clarté et une belle température. Les conducteurs italiens sont très intrépides, ils n’ont pas peur de vous doubler même dans les courbes. Sinon, les paysages sont à couper le souffle! Je vous le recommande.

Second time staying at Paolo’s/Laura’s place. Beautiful, peaceful scenery, easy to walk into Barga. Apartment was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the terrace and garden too. Look forward to staying there again when we’re in the area.

We loved this place! Laura met us and was totally welcoming. Apartment is beautiful - the listing photos do not do it justice. Wonderful view of Barga skyline. Easy walk to Barga - about 15-20 minutes. We were ready to live here full time. Book it!
